Sushant is a dynamic and passionate individual with a strong foundation in the performing arts and an equally impressive academic background. A graduate of Delhi University’s PGDAV College, his journey has been defined by a deep commitment to creativity, education, and social impact. He has dedicated three years to the NAVRANG theater society, where he honed his acting and production skills. His crowning achievement was the creation of his own production, Khwaab, a self-written play that showcased his talent as both a writer and performer. Over the course of his college career, he has participated in over 180 acting competitions, winning more than 90 awards, including prestigious accolades such as Best Actor at IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, Best Mono Act at IIT Roorkee, and top honors at NSUT College and Bennett University.
His commitment to social impact is evident through his work with an NGO focused on supporting slum children, as well his internship with the Textile Sector Council. He has done a review research on the social and economic conditions of handloom weavers in Odisha, highlighting the challenges faced by them. His multifaceted experiences have shaped him into a well-rounded individual with a deep understanding of both the arts and the socio-economic issues that affect society.
Through the Digital Swaraj Fellowship, he desires to expand his horizons in the digital domain. He aims to gain insights into the intersection of technology and social change, while also developing skills that will enable him to contribute to digital empowerment initiatives. He is seeking personal growth by exploring new perspectives and professional growth through hands-on experience in digital innovation and community engagement. He hopes to leverage the knowledge and networks gained from the fellowship to make a meaningful impact in both his professional career and in society at large.
