Anisha is a dedicated professional with a Master’s degree in International Studies from the Symbiosis School of International Studies. Her academic journey in global affairs has given her a strong foundation, which she applied in her recent work with the Himachal Pradesh Government. During her time there, she contributed to several initiatives focused on enhancing governance and fostering regional development, reinforcing her commitment to public service and creating meaningful social impact.

She wants to transition into policy-making with a clear ambition; to influence and craft policies that effectively address the needs of marginalized communities. Her ultimate goal is to represent and advocate for rural India, ensuring that the voices and challenges of these communities are integral to national and international development agendas. She aspires to catalyze sustainable change, bridge the gap between policy and practice, and empower rural populations to achieve long-term prosperity.

Through the Digital Swaraj Fellowship, she aims to deepen her understanding of policy-making and its impact on marginalized communities, with a focus on rural India. She seeks to acquire advanced skills in crafting and implementing policies that address the unique needs of these communities and advocate for their inclusion in broader development agendas. Personally, she hopes to grow as an effective leader, while professionally, she intends to gain the expertise needed to drive sustainable change and bridge the gap between policy and practice.
